"As a State Senator, Kimberly brings to the position experience, integrity and the fiscal discipline we need in our elected officials."
Today, former United States Senator Jon Kyl endorsed Kimberly Yee for re-election to the Arizona Senate. Senator Kyl served as the Minority Whip of the Senate during his tenure. He served three terms in the U.S. Senate and was consistently ranked as one of the most conservative Senators during his time in Washington, D.C.
"I proudly endorse Kimberly Yee for re-election to the State Senate in District 20," Kyl said. "Kimberly has earned a reputation as a respected leader who understands the issues that are critical to Arizona. She has quickly established a distinctive record of accomplishment and displayed extraordinary leadership during her time in the State Legislature. As a State Senator, Kimberly brings to the position experience, integrity and the fiscal discipline we need in our elected officials. As a conservative and advocate for smaller government, individual responsibility, lower taxes and traditional family values, Kimberly upholds the very principles that have made our state and nation great. For these reasons, I ask for your support of Kimberly Yee for the State Senate in the 20thLegislative District of Arizona."
Yee said, "I have always respected and admired Senator Kyl for his strict adherence to the principles of our U.S. Constitution. His proven record in the U.S. Senate is unmatched by many elected officials, and his conservative principles have become a standard by which many other current and future public servants are judged. I thank him tremendously for his endorsement of my re-election campaign."
Kimberly Yee is a state senator from Legislative District 20 and serves as the Chairwoman of the Senate Education Committee. Before serving in the Senate, she served in the Arizona House of Representatives. Kimberly Yee was born and raised in the district, which gives her a unique perspective at the State Legislature. As a wife, mother and small business owner, she is a strong advocate for creating more jobs, improving education, keeping our neighborhoods safe and preserving family values. In addition to former Senator Jon Kyl, Senator Yee has been endorsed by Congressman Trent Franks, Maricopa County Attorney Bill Montgomery, former U.S. Congressman John Shadegg and national radio talk show host Hugh Hewitt.
