"She is a hard-working public servant who is committed to protecting the people of Arizona, including our dedicated veterans."
Today, former Maricopa County Attorney and USMC veteran Rick Romley endorsed Kimberly Yee for re-election for the State Senate. Mr. Romley served the United States of America in the Vietnam War, earning a Purple Heart for his actions overseas. He also served the people of Maricopa County as the County Attorney from 1989 to 2004.
"I have had the opportunity to work with Kimberly during my time as Maricopa County Attorney and have known her for many years. She is a hard-working public servant who is committed to protecting the people of Arizona, including our dedicated veterans. That is why I am proud to endorse her for re-election to the State Senate in Legislative District 20, and I am confident that she will do an exceptional job for the people she represents once again. Arizona is very fortunate to have Kimberly Yee as one of its leaders, and I hope the voters of LD 20 will join me in supporting her on November 4th," said Rick Romley, former Maricopa County Attorney and USMC Veteran.
Yee said, "I am so thankful to have earned the continued support of Rick Romley, a dedicated servant of this great country and state. Throughout his life, Mr. Romley has sacrificed so much to make our country a better place. He is respected by people on both sides of the political aisle, and I value that leadership quality in him. I also admire his extensive knowledge in law enforcement and veterans issues and I look forward to working with him during the next session."
Kimberly Yee is a state senator from Legislative District 20 and serves as the Chairwoman of the Senate Education Committee. Before serving in the Senate, she served in the Arizona House of Representatives. Kimberly Yee was born and raised in the district, which gives her a unique perspective at the State Legislature. As a wife, mother and small business owner, she is a strong advocate for creating more jobs, improving education, keeping our neighborhoods safe and preserving family values. In addition to former Maricopa County Attorney Rick Romley, Senator Yee has been endorsed by former U.S. Senator Jon Kyl, Congressman Trent Franks, Maricopa County Attorney Bill Montgomery, former U.S. Congressman John Shadegg and national radio talk show host Hugh Hewitt.
